RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides leadership and oversight for maintenance continuing analysis and surveillance system, including the quality assurance programs and the Continuous Improvement Program for Lynx Aviation as required by Federal Aviation Regulation 121-373. Establish and maintain a system for the continuing analysis and surveillance of the performance and effectiveness of its inspection program and the program covering other maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations and for the correction of any deficiency in those programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Maintain and enforce Lynx Aviation continuing analysis and surveillance system.
* Provides leadership for the continuing analysis and surveillance system including continuous improvement and safety projects.
* Continually develops the continuing analysis and surveillance system for the surveillance of the Maintenance and Engineering departments.
* Interface with the Internal Evaluation Program.
* Identifies topics and organizations to be audited.
* Audits and provides approvals of on call maintenance providers to the Chief Inspector.
* Ensures policies and programs are being continuously reviewed for improvement opportunities.
* Responsible for identifying necessary corrective action and ensuring such corrective action is implemented.
* Serve as company representative when communicating with FAA or other agencies regarding CASS.
* Will serve as the CASS Board Member in charge of facilitating the monthly meetings to discuss CASS items and corrective actions.
* Responsible for directing activities, and performance management of direct reports.
* Responsible for handling all activity associated with FAA Letters of Investigation related to the Maintenance Organization.
* Responsible for Lynx Aviation Maintenance Self Disclosure Program.
* Update and maintain the approved CAS manual.
* Perform duties in support of the Lynx Aviation Certification process as assigned by the Director of Safety.
* Provide management of volunteers and/or committees involved in (CAS) process improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* A&P license required.
* Five years experience in M&E practices and systems.
* College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
· Prior airline maintenance / operations experience preferred.
· Prior CASS management experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
* Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
* Working knowledge of conducting operational audits.
* Project management skills helpful.
* Solid knowledge of CASS.
* Solid knowledge of all applicable CFRs Operation Specifications
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate direct reports in a positive and professional manner. Providing timely and constructive feedback about their performance.
* Ability to communicate in a positive and effective manner with subordinates, peers, and all other department personnel.
* Ability to work in high stress environments involving the safety of personnel and equipment while interfacing with the executive staff of Lynx Aviation and its regulatory agencies
