RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer and conduct Internal Evaluation Program for departments involved in day to day operations of Lynx Aviation.
Ensures compliance with the scope and content of applicable FAR’s, company policies and procedures, through inspection oversight as described in Lynx Aviation Maintenance and Engineering, and Continuing Analysis and Surveillance (CAS) Program
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Perform internal inspections in accordance with Lynx Aviation’s IEP manual. Manage the corrective action process if applicable. Establish effective audit reporting to identify strengths and weakness relative to exposed risk in the company.
· Evaluate effectiveness of CAS Program in Maintenance and Engineering. Make recommendations as appropriate.
· Train staff and act as mentor in the use of inspections and advanced quality management tools (e. g., Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, System Safety Attributes and Total Quality Management, etc.).
· Support the Lynx Aviation certification process and assigned by the Director of Safety.
· Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Safety (this may include employee safety and security duties.)
If management or supervisory position, which positions report directly to this one?
· Internal Evaluation Auditor. Manage the Auditor while performing internal evaluations and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Hold one of the following certificates; Airframe and Power Plant, Repairman Certificate, Pilot License, FCC Certificate
· Possess 5 years of auditing experience.
· Have at least two years experience in a team leadership and management
· Have exposure to, and competence with, advanced quality tools (e. g., Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, Total Quality Management, and System Safety Attributes, etc.)
· College degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience.
· Ability to work closely with management staff of Lynx Aviation.
· Solid knowledge of all applicable CFRs Operation Specifications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
· Math skills sufficient to be able to work statistical process control equations
· Skills for applying advanced quality tools such as designed experiments and quality function deployment
· Skills in verbal and written communication
· Skills in leadership and the ability to identify and remover barriers to personnel motivation

· Basic presentation equipment
Equipment –
· Occasional weekends and overtime as required
· Ability to work in high stress environments involving the safety of personnel and equipment while interfacing with all levels of Lynx Aviation staff and its regulatory agencies
· Must possess a demonstrated ability to work effectively in crisis situations.
· Occasional travel is required.
· Normal office environment.
